This is a rotating feed from the broadcaster KNB rather than a single fixed camera. It cycles through four locations across Toyama: the north side of Toyama Station, Toyama Airport, Murodo high on the Tateyama range, and Namerikawa on the coast.
That combination covers the prefecture's full vertical range in one stream. Toyama runs from the Sea of Japan up to three-thousand-metre peaks in a remarkably short horizontal distance, and seeing the coast and Murodo in the same rotation makes that compression obvious.
Because the view changes on a cycle, this is not a camera to watch for one particular thing. It works better as a general check on conditions across the prefecture — useful in winter, when the coast may be clear while the mountains are closed in.
