Kuromaro no Sato Dog Park

This is the second Kawachinagano camera on the site, pointed at the dog park attached to the Kuromaro no Sato roadside station.

Dog runs at roadside stations have become common in Japan as more people travel with pets, and this is a straightforward example: a fenced grass area beside the main facility where dogs can be let off the lead while their owners take a break from driving.

It is an unhurried camera. Activity comes in bursts as cars arrive and clears again between them, and it is busiest at weekends and on fine afternoons. Between visitors the frame is simply an empty grass enclosure with the hills of Okukawachi behind it.
