Ikeda Town Hall Rooftop

This is the second Ikeda camera on the site, mounted on the roof of the town hall and looking out across the town and the Azumino basin.

Where the Craft Park camera is up on the hillside and framed for the view, this one is lower, closer to the town itself, and reads more as a municipal weather and conditions camera. The two together give a useful before-and-after of the same valley from different heights.

Ikeda is a small town of a few thousand people on the eastern edge of Azumino, largely agricultural, with the Northern Alps filling the western horizon. The practical value here is straightforward: cloud on the Alps, snow on the roofs, and how the weather is developing over the basin.
