About the Haneda Airport Terminal 2 — Apron View Camera
This camera looks over the apron at Terminal 2 of Haneda Airport in Ota ward. Rather than a runway view, the frame is centred on the stands, so most of what happens on screen is ground work: pushback, refuelling, baggage loading and the tugs moving between gates.
Terminal 2 opened in 2004 as ANA's domestic base and later gained international stands. That history shows in the traffic — a high share of the aircraft you see are domestic services turning around quickly, which is why the apron rarely stays still for long.
Haneda is one of the busiest airports in the world by passenger numbers and sits inside the city rather than out beyond it. Departures ramp up sharply from early morning, and the apron is at its most active in the first hours after the airport's overnight quiet period ends.
